That piece of **** is installed on their new G6 models, well the GTP models i guess.
Anyways I went to check one out with this interesting option.. First ill tell you that it takes like a minute to roll away the soft tonneau tarp away. Then you have a switch that has positions 1 to 5. when you click 1 then one vent opens so on and so forth..
Here is the stupidest fvucking thing ever about it..
Lets say it rained and you decide to open her up, well i hope GM gives you a fvucking umbrella cuz all vents pop open vertically letting all that fvucking rain come inside the fvucking car at the same time giving you a fvuxcking afternoon shower..
Guess what happened to old man Viper, yep the salesguy opens it up just to show me and a **** load of fvucking water starts pooring everywhere in the car and on my fvucking head..
Man I was pissed off , the sales guy was like oh its ok it will dry , I then proceeded to grab his nuts and tight them as hard as i could till he screamed like a little girl
Fvucking GM

Yeah, but heres a thought, dont open the damn sunroof with the roof or windshield wet. Id get soaked in my EX if i drove with the roof open just after it rained too. Not stupid GM, its a cool design that I bet we will see on other makes too.
And my 05 EX roof takes at least 15 seconds to open and its a small *** opening.

Honda has it that even if you open the sunroof it actually slides in and takes the water in with it in the back tucked under the roof..
I have never ever gotten wet from opening my 05 Si's sunroof (NEVER) even if you use the tilt the sunroof sits in a saucer and takes the water in sending it down the pillars into the front fenders....
Ive even drivin whith a light light rain at 100KMPH without getting wet..
thats the beauty of honda sunroofs....
Also you say Id..., so you havent actually tried it.... I say Ive done..... which means ive tried it and i have always been bone dry !!!!
Get the facts right first..
GM's panoramic roof has 5 fins that tilt up simaltaneously which drench you and yeah like i was suppose to know that
So you have to dry your roof completely with a fvucking rag before opening it...
Hell right after a car wash i get out and pop my sunroof open with zero wetness!!!!
GM SUCKS ****
You even edited your seconds that it takes to open your sunroof 25-30secs down to 15 secs so clearly you don't know WTF you are talking about

So you did grab the salesman's *****. Damn that takes ***** to touch another mans *****. Either way it makes for a funny *** post, especially when you said he screamed like a girl.
yeah GM sucks actaully all American cars do. That design is stupid it looks like another part that'll break every other month like all the other parts in those cars. The more complex the more likely it will break - it's a simple law that many manufacturers do not follow.

hahaha I take much pleasure in your misfortune... only cause thats a really funny design flaw. guess the engineers werent thinking when they made that one.
and of course i believe you _Viper_!

Easy Easy, Yes I do have my facts right and I have gotten wet from my damn sunroof. No need for domestic bashing. Hondas arent perfect either Im sure theres little things that would **** you off too about your Honda, maybe not getting you a little wet but still. ease up man

The only thing that pisses me off about honda is that they are near perfect... and you always fall in love with them no matter what.
Ive owned brand new 1985 Ludes that sold like hotcakes in the day and guess what the sunroof on that was excellent also.....
I hate honda cuz they always make me want to buy one

Sorry sir its to wet to open the sunroof you will get drenched....
No instead he opens it full blast giving me some cold fvucking November rain Guns & Roses Style
Not that this is the board for it or anything, but do you think when Honda came out with the Ridgeline it was smart of them to put Struts in instead of Shocks? Just about everyone that takes it off road the FIRST TIME blows them out. Yeah good job Honda on a great design flaw. Dont show your vehicle going offroad in a commercial and not backing it up.

Hey the element is a design flaw but you know what ???
Honda can afford to make those fvucking mistakes and learn from them because they are rich..
GM just laid off 30 000 people i believe
And you know why ??
Because of the god damn Union asking astronomical wages when they cant sell their products out the door..
I went and bught GM pads for my Bro's 03 Granx Prix.. GM wanted 150 bucks canadian for GM pads .. The guy said oh well its the cost of labour that makes them so hi..
I said fvuck that and went to canadian tire and bought monroe pads for 35 bucks with a lifetime warranty
You can still buy tons of 05 GM's ..try and find 05 civic's still for sale new...
pretty damn rare ill say

Well soon toyota will be bigger than GM and all will be well. Then they will have so much money they can remake the supra. even if they lose money on supras it will bring people back to toyota.
The problem with American car manufacturers is that they have not learned to make quality vehicles - every domestic car I have owned starts falling apart at about 50k miles or so (conventiently just after you've finished paying off that four year loan) and they simply don't last. Then repair costs start mounting and the depreciation factor means it becomes more economical to look for a new car...and if you buy domestic you get stuck in the same maddening cycle.
Design flaws like that make me laugh - the salesman obviously lost the sale and he knew it...

no they won't recall it. its too major of a piece to recall. and its not disfunctional, its not broken, its just stupid.
i seriously thing that if GM wants to regain sales they need to stop trying to make the corvette for middle aged men and start making cars for everyone else. yeah the new corvette isn't that bad, although its nothing like the older ones, but thats 1 out of a few hundred cars that are ok. thats it. they have the engineers and experience, they just need to use it.
