I agree with alot of what you are saying. I would never get an old american car and try to make it a fast track car unless i needed a 1/4 mile drag car. They aren't that safe either. But they are wonderful to drive occasionally, and make a great hobby car.
Now I will never get one, but I understand why so many people have them and restore them.

As for minivans... they are ok for women. But any man driving a minivan has no dignity. I would rather a bicycle than a minivan.
