Bottomed Out

Couple of days ago I bottomed out my 2002 civic. I was driving down the residential area I've never been through and at the last minute I saw a huge dip in the road it was too late to hit the brakes and my car just bottomed out with a loud bang and it felt my car went airborne. Anyways this really sucks because the car has never been any wreck before. Then I drove to the dealership to have it checked out mechanically they it did'nt find anything wrong with car so then I took it to the body shop and so far I have to replace the radiator support along with T bar and maybe the engine cradle. When the body shop called me and told me that I needed get this done I went over there to look underneath the vehicle and supprisingly I don't even see any scratches on any of the components like engine, transmission resovoirs exhaust or any block. Although my belts are sqeaking like crazy especially when a/c is on. I do need help about what other things I should be concerned about. w

Thanks for the advice guys but my car did slammed pretty hard onto the ground even for my detachable cd player face plate to come off. Also the body shop I am taking it to is well known and heard many people getting honest service but maybe I will get a second opinion on it. I am hoping I did not damaged the suspension especially the struts but so far it is not pulling in any direction it is still riding smooth besides my engine hood is not closing anymore.

If you took it to the dealer and they said everything is fine then it prob is. The dealer is generally the biggest rip off when it comes to repairs so why would they tell you all is ok if it really wasn't they have a lot to gain and nothing to lose if they tell you the car is messed up. So I'm fairly sure they were being truthful in telling you the car was fine. I've bottomed out hard as well and I was pretty sure I did some damge but upon inspection everything seemed fine, and I have had no probs what so ever. My guess is that the second shop you took it too is nothing but a rip off. I had Break Masters once tell me its 790.00 for sront strut replacement, saying they used all honda parts and that struts from them are 300.00 plus install. I called Honda direct and they said about 120.00 per strut. So as you can see Break Masters tried to rip me off. Like the others have said get another opinion after all they are free, but if Honda said that all was ok then get that in writing this way if there truly was a problem you can go back and be like wtf, then they are liable for damages.

Well first things first, if you hit a dip in a neighborhood and went airborne (or even felt like it) you were driving too fast.
Anyways, if the car left the road and slammed back down, plan on 2 new struts. Have the mounting points checked out and make sure they're still where they're supposed to be (get an alignment).
Check the motor mounts, make sure you didn't rip one off or break an insert when the car came down.
If the belts are squeaking and sqealing and tightening them won't fix it, try replacing them if they still squeak, get the pulleys checked for mis-alignment.
Get the car checked by multiple shops as previously mentioned.
