The stock airbox may give lowend power vs. aftermarket, but at Highway speeds my car pulls hard once I'm around 80. It seems more easy for the car to get to 100mph with an intake (at hwy speeds)...It creeps with the stock box

really, i felt alot more power with stock going past 4k. i don't think 1whp is gonna be noticable. and on the highway, i just tap the gas and it starts speeding up. maybe it depends on your other mods. cause i also have pnp head, header, and exhaust.

I don't know for sure...but it just feels that way. I have Injen SR....After reading that article I'll probably go back to the stock airbox with Honda paper filter.

Gearbox: Do you think keeping stock airbox with a good exhaust would make a difference?

i love the stock intake now. and i have the rsr exhaust. feels great lo and hi end. the stock muffler is way too restrictive and you can see the power just die at 6k rpms. but yea low end is way better with stock intake. I've been through 3 intakes and went back to stock each time. and the car isn't as loud and ricey with just the exhaust.

Do you have dyno with stock air box with rsr? I saw the one you posted comparing the intakes, but was that with rsr also?
