Unless it's happened again recently, the incident you're talking about was with a young black female that hit a man who got stuck in the windshield and she just let him slowly die while the car was parked in her garage.

yea old ppl suck boi. i didnt kno ur car got hit kikz u should hav called me. i feel so bad for the older ppl. dont go through insurance kikz charge her directly. Itz messed up how the lady kept driving. FYI that parking lot is tight as hell. im sorry it had to be your car. All you guys hav to consider that the older ppl normally dont have anyone with them at their disposal so they take care of themselves and driving is one of the things they must do. its naturally inevitable. its like eating taco bell.. u kno your gonna be in some **** later.

the parkin lot is kinda tight but FYI if da lady woulda moved up a little she coulda done a lot less damage to my car but she kept goin knowin she was scratchin da **** outta my car .. and wen da cops found her n got her 2 come bak she sent her husband or son so there's no excuse for her she had ppl who coulda dropped her off and picked her bak up ..so no I don't feel sorry for her ..and they could always take a taxi or some ****

My grandfather was 80 and they gave him a 5 year license that year. Even if he was relatively capable at 80 (which he wasn't...), 5 years is a LONG TIME at that age and your whole body can fall apart quick. The thought of him on the road makes me want to stay off the sidewalk. Good thing he lives in NH.

just saw an accident about an hour ago, 80 yr old guy drove into a hydropole and a biker, both in critical condition and I was one of the first on the scene

bottom line. 98% of old people suck at anything requiring mental/muscle stimulation (sp)

They dont think as quickly and aren't as aware of their surroundings and dont have the same reflexes as someone who is younger. Even someone in their 50's will have a much quicker reflex than someone in their 60's/70's.

Most dont seem to look when changing lanes/merging and the speed thing just sucks. At least go the speadlimit!!!!!! I dont care if u dont go faster than 65 but at least do 65! Dont go 50/55 in a 65 and not try to speed up when people r flying up behind you and then having to sit behind u for the next 1/2 mile until the other lane opens and they can fly around u.

beginning of this year I got rear ended by an old man and his wife. I pulled out of the exit lane and into the median turn area... to make my left turn...He followed me out and didn't stop...ended up leaving a 2005 Jaguar S-TYPE grill print in my paint and having to get the entire rear-end replaced...he didn't even get a warning from the geriatric 'traffic enforcement' policeman that came out...miffed me off...he even tried to tell me that he was going to be late for his doctor's appointment...my response...."Oh Well? I think you'd be better off making an appointment with your FYCKING optometrist." He gave me a weird look...mainly becuse he was speaking broken english....

oh yeah...most definitely....fact that I had just washed and Eagle1-waxed and self detailed the car the night before, that made me mad as hell....plus the fact that his precious jaguar had no damage whatsoever...he literally with the cop there took a rag out of his trunk and WIPED my paint off his grill...what made me laugh a little though was his wife hit him a couple times before he got out...

Anyone not paying 100% attention while behind the wheel is a bad driver... On to the topic of old drivers tho, a 91 year old man pulled out in front of a motorcycle cop right down the street from my house. The street was closed for about 6 hours and I could not get out of my neighborhood. Both the old man in the car and the officer died, the officer having 2 kids ages 12 and 15. That was the first time I actually felt like cops have a hard *** job.

i third, fourth, fifth that. you gotta love seeing older people driving down the highway looking UP out the windshield!!!

A little while back, there were a couple (4 or 5) accidents at an intersection, where there is wide open road, and no stop lights. the accidents occured when someone would try to make a left turn (from a turn lane) across the oncoming traffic and up a road. each accident involved a senior citizen. the police ALWAYS blamed the cause of the accident as 'speeding' on the driver trying to drive straight. i would think that they would also look into the older person's responsiveness/eye sight. yes, people do speed on that road, but it's never more than 5-10 mph over. OH YEAH, AND THAT ROAD THAT PEOPLE WERE TURNING ONTO, It only goes to one place. A CONVELESCENT HOME!!! NOW THERE'S A FREAKIN LIGHT THAT TURNS READ IF ANYONE is coming down the road... (either direction)

MY IDEA TO KEEP OLDER DRIVERS IN CHECK IS TO HAVE THEM TAKE A DRIVING TEST/EYE CHART TEST EACH YEAR AFTER A CERTAIN AGE (POSSIBLY 70???)

you also gotta love those people driving down the fast lane (or carpool lane) who are eventually going to make a left turn too!
