Rep Power: 289 Used EVO VIII, Worth Buying?
Well I was passing by a Mitsubishi dealer close to home and stopped by to take a look at the EVO IX's, and in the lot they had a used 2003 EVO VIII with 18K miles. Body was in great shape, interior needed a lil cleaning but overall good and the engine sounded good and strong.
Price was $25,000 is it worth buying?

Rep Power: 0 I think that price is a little high. Being that it is already 3 years old and a new body style is out. Also cars like those tend to be driven very hard, especially when the owner is selling it. I was checking the stock inventory of Costa Mesa Mitsubishi and they allegedly have 05's with 100 miles on them going for 25,998.

Rep Power: 338 agreed ... people do beat the **** out of it ... even at break in.
if you really want it, DRIVE IT FIRST ... make sure the clutch and transmission are in GOOD condition

Rep Power: 350 whats the rate on the used vs. the new - usually the news have some sort of apr deal? 25k seems like a lot for a 03...dont the 03s have trans issues too? may want to check on some reliablity issues if there are any.
