Hey guys i need your opinion i have a 2k1 civic lx ans i bought this car knowing i would do mods to it, but as the time is passing i'm starting to notice that these cars will most likley not have forced induction anytime soon..............And i have a need for speed.............So would you guys take the $5000 and buy a Kaminari Body kit,DC Sports twinn loop and a cold air intake and some smaller stuff like lights ect..............or.............would you buy yourself a 1993 civic with a Turbo already installed and NOS for roughly the same money and have a second vechile?????
P.S. the 1993 civic has over 200,000 km but seems to be running strong..

Rep Power: 0 Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I'd have to see that civic, 200k miles i wouldn't expect TOO much more life out of it, specially if it already has a turbo on it that means its been raced....

Rep Power: 0 That's a lotta miles to be racing a car on. I don't think it'll last much longer if you race it unless you wanna replace hella sh't under the hood including the engine and tranny for the most part.

Rep Power: 0 If you got 5 G's and want to have a low budget fast car, get a 4th gen hatch CRX, etc.... and drop a B16 into it and keep it all motor! Everyone and their MOM has an EG!! Just my opinion...

Rep Power: 0 Get the 92 civic!! It would be fun to have a second car that actually goes fast......and if it gives you problems, well then it will be a project car (at least you'll have your 2k1, so it is not like you'll be walking to work if the 93 breaks down).

Rep Power: 0 for $5k, I'd put it all on the 01.
You could go with:
1. Kaminari Bodykit w/paint $1500 apprx
2. 18"s w/tires $2000
3. I/H/E $200/$250/$500
4. Upper Strut $150
5. Ground Controls $400
total cost: $5000

Rep Power: 0 Maybe you could get a custom turbo put together. I was quoted here in Atlanta 4500 for a custom job. Or, get the I/H/E and a bottle of nitrous, body kit, wheels, etc. for roughly the same.
