im so annoyed.. im at the dealership now.. they have the new SI and the new ridgeliner (which btw is EXACTLY the same as the 05 with the exception of the rims).. they dont have the 8thgen civic... this sucks.. i wanted to take that ugly lil sucker for a spin..
the new SI is very nice though.. wonder if they will let me borrow it

Read it closely, they say any thing OF EQUAL OR BETTER QUALITY. Since Motorcraft has some of the best dino oil around, really the only way to get better is to go with a good synthetic.
Some how I'm thinking that since two people sued Ford for it, and lost, that it is not false. Because the law says you can replace OEM parts with BETTER OR EQUAL parts. You can void your warrenty by replacing parts with lower end parts, in this case oil. If they do an oil test and find the oil was faulty because you used a poor oil choice and they have the test results showing the TBN and moly count and all that, you're screwed. Basically, you can't put worse oil in the engine and expect to run it for 5-6k miles and hold your warranty.
