Dumb question from over here in Europe

Ok, I can't take it any longer. I have to ask.

I've seen a couple of pics where the internal door handle has a switch next to it. Well my ride hasn't got one. So what the f*#k is it for ? Central door locking ? Ejection seat ? Switch for adding 10BHP ? Or is it Sedan only ?

RTFM doesn't apply here since it's not in there
