The American Tiida will be a B-segment, or three-door hatchback vehicle, aimed at young people with the intention of taking a bite out of the Scion tC's burgeoning market share. The Nissan Tiida will be shorter, but taller and wider than the tC. Expect the car to be at least 6 inches smaller in length than the Sentra, as well. Even though its proportions will roughly be the same as that of the Nissan Sport Compact show car, the 2007 Tiida will probably lose some of the concept's more exotic touches, which include bolstered seats, carbon-fiber trim and 20-inch six-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. Front-wheel drive and a four-cylinder engine are sure bets on this four-passenger vehicle.
