I have noticed that many of you post threads that dont belong in General ramblings. Please read the description's of each forum before posting your threads. Thank you!

Rep Power: 0 Totally agree. Posting in the right thread not only helps you get more responses, that you really want and that pertain to the topic, but it also helps out the people that are reading...not to have to look through things that dont interest them, or what they are searching for. Rep Power: 325 Heheh, shouldn't this post be in the Off Topic section?
General Ramblings
General auto chat. For off topic stuff, use the "Off Topic" category.
Heheh, just a thought.
EDIT:
Typo

Rep Power: 0 Nah I think this topic belongs here. Besides the fact that it's aimed in GENERAL to people that are posting in the wrong categories, most people tend to post things in general ramblings either becuase of laziness or becuase they arent aware of where topics should be posted. But actually, you're right...it should ALSO go in the off topic category.

Rep Power: 293 Most people post in here to get more responses. General Ramblings is the most looked at of the forums. When I had a problem I'd post here just so I could get responses. Another example is my topic about comments in member rides. I posted it here, got 7 responses the first couple of hours, then someone moved it to website stuff, where it belongs, but no posts since .

Rep Power: 0 General ramblings does get the most attention. But I see that there are peeps in other parts of the forum who don't even participate in this area, and I like to stay around here and off topic the most. You'll also find me in Vehicle Issues, West, and sometimes Tech Stuff, as well. People post stuff here about their messed up cleared headlights (for example) here when they're new (just like I did) and some people WILL help, and there are some people who just don't feel like being nice about it. You're bound to get the answer you want, but simultaneously frustrate the people who chose to reply to it.
Then there's the "Search" problem for those who've JUST learned where to go to take their issues but won't search cuz perhaps, it's not so easy to see when you're new here? (That's how it was with me.) It's a never-ending cycle of teach some of the new users where to go.
Perhaps after clicking on the "forums" link, there should be another page or something really noticable that says "choose the right forum before posting your threads!" and "please use our search before making a new topic if you're not familiar with the forums" or something? Get my drift? Maybe "Navigation" just needs to be a lil' larger so perhaps it's the layout of the forums? It probably can't be helped.

Rep Power: 0 We can preach until we are "Blue" in the face concerning this......but to expect so many members to conform is just impossible....so MODERATORS just keep doing the "GREAT" job you guys are doing on moving threads and hopefully more will follow!...Peace!
