best rpm to star off at?

to me.. it just kinda depends on what i'm racing on... if it's like in the streets... 2-3k rpm.... if it's like wet er slippery outside... don't even race... what you think im nuts ??[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/IMG]

I NEVER dump my clutch.. with our cars you risk te evil bounce WAY too much with clutch Dumping.. I prefer the good ole fashioned Clutch wear technique.. Hell I ran under 17 seconds with a weighed down DX Sedan Okay so it was .013 thousandths under 17..but hey...

i guess it most likely depends on your tires too... if u got wider tires then u can dump it at higher rpms like 3000-4000, if u still running on stock firestones, i dunno about that one, maybe 2500-3000 is ok... don't do it too much though, you mess up your clutch and tranny
