Have any of you guys seen the latest SCC? There is a Hyundai Tiburon, save the growning , with twin engines that drive the F and R wheels separately, two totally separate transmissions! So its basically AWD, both RR and FF . It gets better, both engines were dynoed at over 300, guess its 1/4 time? 10.96!!! Maybe i should just drop an h22 in my trunk and convert mine to AWD as well . Just thought id share the insanity, just when u think you've seen it all.

yeah i saw this as well, it was in an issue awhile back asking about why each entrant thought they deserved to run in some race thing, and the owner explained that while turbo charging one engine was fast, it wasn't fast enough so he stuck another one in the trunk, and it is driven separtatly.

That burnout is !@#$ing Awesome!!!

Did you guys see the new Tiburon that is coming out next model year? V6 180hp... It's gonna be able to smoke us, but let's all remember this one important fact... it's a Hyundai... I'm Korean, and I wouldn't wish for my worst enemy to drive one of those POS's...

ewww... hyundai... that goes right along with anyways, it's a good concept, twin engines, then if you throw a turbo onto each one. i'm hoping my turbo can get worked out and installed. still haven't gotten any more info about it though.

Two engine???????????

Sounds like the Escudo UpPeak car frum Suzuki......
I've seen this car race on tape and it's freakin amazing.........
Two engines, one running rear and one running front...... over 1000 horse.....

The new Tiberan is a POS................
Even if it's V6 and 180 horse, doesn't mean they can take us........
Hyundai make POS engines taht will break down hella fast.......
That's why they got the 10,000 mile shizt.

I can't wait to see one so i can whipp the shizt out of it........

My mom has a Sante Fe AWD and loves it. It doesnt rattle, gets decent gas mileage and has enough go for her. I would prefer not to get a Hyandai, but whatever floats your boat.

Read a test drive of the new v6 6 spd Tiburon, it was in Euro I think, not sure though, But it only ran to 60 in 8.8 seconds. Might be indicative of poor driving skills though.
'Peace

I personally wouldnt waste money to throw in another engine. I mean what a waste of money, if you're gonna do that y not sell that car and buy something with REAL power.

If you look at the Street Car Challenge results, you'll also see that the Tiburon rode like complete crap and was basically only good for going in a straight line and doing cool burnouts. Plus it got < 12 mpg on the freeway.

I mean the methanol-powered, twin-engine Tiburon, that is.
