8th gen or 7th gen?
Right now..i think the 7thgen sedan looks better than the 8thgen.
Thats mainly becuase i just picked up an 05 Sedan. Also, i just like the styling better. I dont really like the 8thgen steering wheels. And my Si(EX) rims look awsome too.

7thgen has a bigger engine bay... but a shitty engine. However a k swap in a 7thgen allows more room for mod than lets say an 8th gen. An 8thgen si is also 21 grand making it the same price as an rsx.. rumors say its 21 grand.
I also like to note that the 4 door sedan is hideous... looks like a saturn crossed with a civic. it will however grow on me. I think 7 and 8th gen in the end both pretty nice cars.

yeah..hmmm....
although you'd think we could all be biased. Afterall..this is '7thgen'civic.com....LOL.
however, although some may say the designs of the 8thgens are hideous, there are still lots of people that love it, and it'll all grow on us.

As of right now, judging from what you can do with an 8thgen and how they look stock ... Im going to have to go with the 8thgen for now. The 7thgen is too long in my opinion. I think they were designing it and wanted so badly to get away from the SI look that they just enlongated the thing till it was weird looking.

Looks wise, I'd give the 7th gen sedan the thumbs up, but two thumbs up to an 8th gen coupe.
Interior though goes to the 8th gen on both. Wow... That looks great and well put together.

7thgen as of the pics available now looks better.........
but if Honda is able to get the same gas milleage out of their new 1.8 as compared to the 1.7, then 8thgen....... but as you stated, no performance.
