car purchasing question crx 1991

i am currently debating on which car i should get. i know this site is for 7th gen civs, but nevertheless i am asking. the cars i have seen that i'm interested in are the ones with the b18 with a b16 tranny, but it needs some work. the good thing, is that their cheaper, and if i wanted to swap an engine, with the b18, it would already be done.

my other consideration is:
www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1331875

my main purpose for purchasing this car is for performance/reliability ( i commute 100 miles daily ) ... i intend on keeping the car for about a year, and perhaps make a few mods on the way. which one should i get. the price difference is about 1k. the second car has alot more work done to it, however it doesnt have the engine i want in it

I think the one with the d15 might be more reliable than the other that needs repairs, considering that you commute 100 miles a day, but don't know about the real conditions of both...I suggest you to test the both a see which one suits your purpose better. At least the body of the black one seems in really good shape apart from the seat and the missing rear wiper.
