Rep Power: 0 I don't know too many Civics on this site that are really worried about 1/10th of a second. I know I'm not. I am guessing that most people are buying the 17" for the appearance and that's it.

Rep Power: 0 maybe 1/10 of a sec is not a big deal afterall, but what about your ride quality? what about the life of your suspension component? big and heavy rims will translate more vibration to the cabin and reduce the life of your struts/spring

Rep Power: 0 Thanks everyone for the responses, I did pick up a little more info than I already had. And NO I am not the type of person to worry about 1/10 of a sec. I just wanted to know if there were any disadvantages in handling as well as overall performance( maybe I should have made the post more clear) not just for drag purposes, especially since my wife would cut my sac's off if I were racing with the baby in the back

Rep Power: 0 Install 15 inch SI rims, with 195/50/R15 you'll feel a biiiig difference!
I'll outrun anybody with the same car and the same mods as mine with my 15's and your 16's or 17's or up!
