lol try driving my old 88 dodge omni after driving my civic it feels like i let the clutch all the way out and then some before it catches in the omni. hard to believe i learned on it (but then it did take me forever to get used to that clutch)

Yep, stupidest clutch design ever IMO. I was used to driving an old '97 Honda Accord and the clutch slowly engaged, but this one has an egagement point in a very narrow range and further back too.

the clutch design is japanese,
japanese clutches have a low engagement point
german cars have a high clutch engagement point, try driving a manual VW or Audi and a manual Honda, it's totally different
