Worlds Fastest Le mans cars by country?
The worlds Fastest imports by country!! you choose which one is the best of them all! Or add if Im missing something!
Japan
past car, they have no current Le Mans car

(The Mazda 787B) the only Japanese car to bring home Le mans Win. Nookie monster most likely worships this car in his sleep.
What it brought to motoring?
its rotary engine of course!
French

Pescarolo C60! le mans
gave the audi's a big run for their money, this car proved to be the fastest car around Le Mans ever!
what it brought to motoring
A fresh new face and a car that can reach over 230mph on the straights of Le mans!
Germans

(The BMW Mclaren F1 GT-LM)-brought home three le mans victories
The last production of its breed, this was considered by many as the ultimate supercar! The car itself weighed in only a passenger away from a Lotus Elise. Add that with a engine that producted upward of 615hp and you got a car only beaten by race regulations.
what it brought to motoring?
Carbon fiber and gold plated engine bays!
Germans continued:

(audi R8 lmp1)- This car has become a legend in the motor world, sense its introduction not a car has beaten it at Le mans. This is the modern day GT40. However, new regualtions aimed straight at audi will be the death of this car next year. A new model is set to take its place.
what it brought to motoring?
Audi's FSI fuel system, Audi's 7 gear Tiptronic clutch based paddle shifter.
British

(Aston martin DBR9) Aston returns to racing after a long break. This is the new evolution of british sports cars.
What it brought to motoring?
The best damn tires known anywere.. Yokohamas new racing prototypes. Combine those with this car and you get easy 2g turns. These tires on this car with its setup were so good infact that they took down the corvettes in qualifying. The corvettes used a special set of tires even.
British again

(Bently speed 8 race car)-closed canopy racer proved more than a match for its caddy compeditor at le mans.
what it brought to motoring?
8 gears of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Italy

Ferrari 550LM
Ferrari, ohh the legend...

The 787B makes me jizz everywhere.
I do worship that car in my sleep. I have dreams where I frolick with that car through green fields...
General Info:
Curb Weight: 1831 lbs
Layout: Mid-Engine/RWD
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Engine:
Type: Wankel Rotary (4)
Displacement: 2622 cc
Horsepower: 700 bhp @ 9000 rpm
Torque: 620 lb-ft @ 6500 rpm
The renesis is a lesser descendant of this engine.
