... Struts were the worse thing they ever did to the civic.... Seriously, Honda was so far ahead of evey one else when they started putting double wishbone suspensions on their cars, and now they've taken a step back with struts... whats next? Tortion beam rear ends?

well since the CRX is supposed to have a K20 in it as well, it'll be a better car to have it seems bc, CRX's always were light as hell and with a K20, itll only go faster as long as they could wish to put double wishbone suspension on them again...
Coupe market is far from dead--the Scion TC sells extremely well.
I've come to the conclusion that the front end looks really ugly. The front fascia is disproportionately thin--combine that with the even shorter engine bay and it looks like some bizzare hybrid of a 90s Subaru and a new Suzuki Aero.

Honda has the opportunity to
a) totally dominate the import and "tuner" industry
or
b) completely make fools of themselves and flop, which they have already started to do with the d17.

^^
but that D17 gives me 700km on a full tank. (driving like a grandmother)
otherwise around 600km on a full tank. thats why i bought my civic. not for speed..but for fuel economy..
and they didnt flop with the d17, its much better than the d16, saves more gas, and its lighter, and a bit more powerful.
But if your talking from a tuner, mod, or racing point of view, well yeah..it wasnt made for that..
