Proud new owner of a S2000

The thing that surprised me was that the insurance for the s2000 was cheaper than my 2004 Civic.

Lol, im the kid in it. And no, my mommy and daddy did not pay for it (although it is under my dad's name since i am only 17). But i paid the down payment and will be paying the monthly note + insurance with my own money.

nice come up but personally i wouldnt do that...i'd save the money i get and drop it on a much nicer car when i have enough...like save up 50-60k than blow it on a ferrari down...heh well i might do that but i have yet to see...but ur ride is sick

Actually, I am living on my own (well with a couple friends) near college campus.
Yea, most 17 y/o dont make a lot of money. But i am running my own Ebay business so i am supporting myself with that.

lol, i sure will. Already got some OEM stuff on it (Wing Spoiler, Front Underbody Spoiler, Headrest Speaker, and 8 disc CD Changer) But plan to start modding around end of this year or early next year. Then Supercharge or Turbocharge it by the end of next.

when you drive a sports car insurance is alot... plus the cost of a 33k car...

i have a 03' s2k, 95' mk4 supra, and an ek hatch... now guess how much all that cost me.. its all in perspective

Thats what was so funny to me, the insurance for the S2000 is 198 a month while my civic was... 220 a month.

lol, when I was at the insurance company getting insurace and they quoted the $198, i asked them "Are you sure you got the right car?". They confirmed and i was a happy camper. I was expecting the insurance to be around 250-300.
