Would you buy used car with shaky carfax??
I'm have a very hard decision to make. I finally found the perfect car, test drove it... inspected it and everythign is great. EXACTLY what I'm looking for.
I pull up a CarFax just in case.... everythign is clean. Title is clean... no hail damage.. nothing EXCEPT a Collision Repair Facility has been reported. How serious is this?
What I'm worried about with this one is resale value.... its very importent to me and I'm afraid that when I try to resell the car and someone pulls up a carfax and sees that little minor flaw they will get scared off.
Here is a screen shot of the carfax:

I rather have the car in an minor accident and have a clear carfax cuz its a lot easier to sell this way... I dunno what to do but I know that if I buy this car with this type of carfax it'll be a problem selling it later on and I cant risk that.
Let me know what you guys think and what you would do in my situation.

ask the guy to show proof if he went to a quality body shop they should have his history saved in their system. personally i wouldnt because when you try to sale. it will just be a headache. although the cl is the chasis they race in europe and the hr guy at my work has a 325cl that ***** on m3's for about 15k cheaper
i think it should be fine, when i got my civic it was in a minor accident (fender bender painted bumper) i knew this and everythign was fine, no problems, but i dunno about resale value, it doesnt matter since its stayin with me for a long time..if i was in ur situation, n everythin was fine, i would just get it.

my civic flew away very fast cuz everythign was clean as a whistle....
i rather have a car thats been hit or something with a clean carfax cuz resale if much much easier that way.
i'm thinking if i can get the price even lower to compensate for the carfax then there is a chance of me buying it but i cant pay average retail for this.
