ahhh, i give up on it
Well, it all began when I bought some m3 mirrors and I tried connecting them just to see how they look. So, I unplugged the harness from the stock mirror and realized hey its not plug in play damn ebay! Anyways, I went to plug it back into the stock mirror and as soon as I did that I realized that my battery was still plugged in. I tried to see if it would still work, but no it didnt. The passenger side mirror worked, but the drivers side was dead.
So, I did some tests I took the drivers side mirror and plugged it into the pass. side mirror and it worked. I know the mirror itself is fine. So, I checked some fuses and it looked like they all checked out. I even checked the power mirror switch with a multimeter, but since I didnt have wiring diagram I just checked all the wires. I tested some combinations with the wires while pushing up, down, left, and right. I saw readings of 12s on some of the wires I tested while it was switched to the drivers side mirror.
So, now I said screw it and ill just let the dealer stick it to me in the
Well, wish me luck while I get this all straightened out.

Naaahhh.... it's got to be something stupid. The mirror won't fail by unplugging it, even IF you were moving it at the same time. It's just 2 motors. Re-check the connector.
There is NO way the battery caused this. Maybe a pin in the connector got pushed in.

Its weird because when I use a multimeter and test out the 3 wires from the harness. 2 combinations give me a .3 or a .1 and then it goes away. So, that means a little power is going to the mirrors but not enough plus its not constant power.
Could I have shorted something?
How is that wired?....battery...to fuse box....to switch....to mirror right?

are you sure youre switching the mirror control to the right mirror? unplugging the mirror while the battery is connected wont harm anything, and unless you tapped any wires or plugged the mirror in backwards or something, you shouldnt have any blown fuses either. I say, check all the pins in the harnesses.

Yes, im sure that the switch is to the drivers side mirror. I have checked all the wires in the harness. Ive checked them so much I remember the 3 colors even haha. 2 blue wires one with a black stripe and one with a white stripe and a green one.
When I get home from work. Im going to check the wires from the switch.

To the OP, I sent the wiring info to you that I had via E-Mail a while back. I have since returned to the library to access the automotive repair website, The power mirror wiring is not avail for the 7th gen Civics on that system. I was looking at the wire colors you had listed and they closely match what is on the schematic that I have (does the green wire have white stripe,on drivers side?) It is possible that the wiring info I sent to you may be the same as far as the wiring of the mirrors goes.
Passenger wire colors = Red/Yel, Grn/Wht & Wht/Red ???
Fuse # 20 in under hood box & 14 in under dash box.
Let me know if any help needed.
