I have a 00 EX civic with the d16y8. I have a short ram intake, stock intake manifold, HP Racing header, 2.25" custom exhaust from cat-back. Im thinking either an intake manifold from skunk 2 or OBX, or a test pipe, or maybe both next? Give me some advice. I need a little more torque. I need to stay in the lower $200's for now. What can I do with that? Thanks for the help guys...

research this more. I know the older civics are better to mod, but getting the wrong thing will lose torque. That test pipe is gonna kill your low end. Intake manifold maybe, followed by bored out throttle body maybe from www.maxbore.com

Ok, cool. Thanks...is a tapper bore any good? I found a throttle body for my car that has a tapper bore. The mouth is bored to 62mm, then it tappers back down some. Should I go for it and keep the stock IM? And will a bigger throttle body help all that much? Like how much tq and hp could I be looking at?

bigget tbi don't help that much. like 1hp dyno diff maybe 2. but if your gonna boost you might as well put in the bigger tbi. not sure about the tapper bore.
