Never new this but you can actually put a blow-off valve with a supercharger? 00 civic si

it says that its a vortech supercharger. so yeah, on a vortech you can put one on. you can see it in the engine pic.

yes because blow off valves release air pressure. both turbos and supercharges force air into the engine, thus creating air pressure. one uses belts and the other uses exhuast.

LOL,that such a simple answer, well a blow off valve, lets air out, chargers put air in, turbo is different from super, duh.
The blow off vavle does two things for a turbo, increases turbos life by relieving back pressure which surges the compressor, and allowing the turbo to spool faster, make it more responsive between shifts. A blow off valve only does one thing or a supercharger, reduces surge, increasing life.
