depends on where you drive. If you drive on gravel or dirt roads, dont take them off.

Yea probably. My old car didnt have mud flaps before I owned it, and you could see the rock chips.

I would keep them on. Getting tar and rock chips isnt something good

i got the oem mudguards.... its loud when i drive over rocks.... everytime i hear clunks its scary.. its loud when it hits the mudguards

Mudflaps are for pick-up trucks and 18 wheelers. Thye look silly on our cars. I made the dealership take them off before I bought my car. Your paint shouldn't chip anymore than it would without them.
