one is just a way to charge more for a piece of crap. the other one is a way to give a car away for way to cheap of a price.

If you want to know the real differances. Go to a dealer.
The RalliArt is just a polished turd. Stock Lancer, with shiny stuff to make it more apealing to thoes that cant afford an EVO.

Yeah, that 2.4L 162hp engine is just a big block of shiny stuff in the engine bay ... certainly not a meaningful upgrade from the stock 2.0L mill

The Ralliart is only FWD. It is supposed to be what the OZ wasn't when it first came out. It is sportier, quicker, better equipped then a regular Lancer. In general, its a good small car. The Evo is entirely different. Both have been tuned by Ralliart, but only one actually has that racing aspect that most people want. The EVO is AWD and has a ton of features that make it almost 2 x the price of a Ralliart car.

Unlike the WRX/WRX STi, I believe they took the base Lancer and modified it for both instead of adding stuff to their vehicle like Subaru did with the WRX.

Yes, the general chassis is the same. The evo has extra welding in the doors, suspension points, etc to make it stiffer.

Hey Al, you can only polish a turd so much... There is more out ther to produce more power for the 2.0 than the 2.4, other than upgradeing to evo.

On the subaru note... ( I work for a scoobie dealer ) Yes it's the same platform, exact same, but there are minor differances, like Ramones stated... Until you get to the drivetrain, and suspension.

Unlike the Lancer, and the RalliArt. But the EVO does contain thoes suttle differances too.
