ok first, anything is possible with the right amount of cash. second, yeah i guess it could be done, BUT it would be a pretty tight fit. you would need a new ECU, wiring harness, new motor mounts, new cluster, new everything in the engine bay. literally. but hey if it could be done, it would be a sweeeeet sleeper. i could picture a 3.0 v6 5sp from an accord with the tranny too. imo it can be done. and when your done can i have some free money? cause itll cost you a new car.
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

if you do the accord swap it would be cool. and iirc, with the right offset you can counter the fact the accord has a wider wheel base than the civic.

The V6 swap would be over kill IMO. Sure it's possible, but if you want a manual you need the V6 from the brand new accord, not the 2000-2003 style (they only made auto's before).
With that being said, after all the cost, you would have beatin it with a K20 and have a better handling car, and MUCH more aftermarket support. V6 on a small I4 car will not yeild a decent front/rear balance.

It would probably be easier to fit a Civc body/shell onto an Accord's already working chasis. The swap would be a lot cheaper too. You'd just have to remove some of the larger Accord's parts so everything lines up properly.

Dude, people have fitment problems with a 4-cylinder k20. The v6 out of the accord is even bigger then that. Push the firewall back, extend the nose, fix the now messed up suspension, etc. Sure it can be done, but I can also convert my civic into a batmobile. Just need money.

And I bet the suspension was designed with the v-6 in mind.
Not to mention that the V6 on the MX3 was one of the smallest, if not the smallest, V6 ever released on a mass-produced car.
Usually though its a big jump weight wise from I4->V6, you wind up having to add things in like extra reciprocating parts, an extra cam shaft on occassion, extra exhaust manifold, blah blah blah.
Size wise maybe you should try swapping in a VR6 from VW, I hear those are pretty compact
V6 power, I4 size.

Oh well, that is just in theory. Similar to a wolf in sheep's clothing. Plus, it would already be working because everything underneath is an Accord, while on the exterior, it looks like a screwed up Civic.

I remember seeing an Accord w. a V8 swapped into it on Ebay, the guy had to cut through the firewall and 2 of the cylinders were w. him in the cabin, but he managed to shoehorn it in
