if you're lucky, he'll just imply that you're ignorant and spare the 1000 word Mazda-related history.
The internet should come with a disclaimer nowadays "Warning: Your opinion may be rejected and placed up your ***. Please be mindful of where you leave it."

hahaha christAll I will say is that Mazda is the only Japanese Marque to take home the 24 hour Le Mans championship. The Mazda 3 is currently destroying everything in its class. The 6 wins over its competition in the fun to drive factor as well as the RX-8. The only company to see success in rotary engines. One of the only companies that emphasizes driving experience rather than conformity. Let's not forget the MP3/Mazdaspeed Protege handling on par with Porsches and other exotics and being named the best handling FWD vehicle built and dethroned the coveted "Integra Type-R." OR the fact that the Miata was recently put into the guiness book of world records as the best seling sports car of all time. OR the fact that the renesis was named international engine of 2003, and in the 10 best engine list for 2004 and 2005. The RX-8 itself has been on C&D's 10 best list for two years in a row. Jeremy Clarkson calls it the best car he had driven last year. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Pretty interesting that garbage can accomplish so much...But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and just say you're ignorant.
As for the styling of the 6, wait until you see the MS6. It'll blow this one away. This particular 6 appears to be the 4 door sedan. Check out the sportier 5 door version with the lift back. It's alot more aggressive looking.

Far more changes than that. Top mount intercooler calls for a specially designed grill and front bumper. The thing is 273 hp direct injection turbo 4 with AWD. It just weighs a bit much.
The same engine will be in a detuned form in the new Mazdaspeed 3, however it will only be FWD.

that color looks like the color for that new Shinka RX-8. btw, this is off topic, but whats the major differences between the Shinka RX-8 and the regular RX-8 that makes it 6 grand more?
oh, this is off topic too, the mazda 6's in taiwan have always had that style taillights. maybe they thought it was time to bring it here? lol. i dunno, its just funny seeing businessmen in taiwan driving around in a mazda 6 with altezza style taillights.

im not too hyped up about the tailights, i personally think the older one is better compared to this one. if it was crystal red/clear then it would be million times hotter.

I had a 2005 Mazda 6 5-door for two weeks and it was pretty good car. I got it with 116 miles and drove around 3,000 miles with it and it felt pretty good. It was a 4-cyl model with 4-spd sport shift. The engine felt nice above 3000 rpm, althought i didn't like the sport shift that much due to a small lag between shifts. I feel like it could be faster, well at least I am in my 5spd civic. The highway driving was really nice, I made two 900-mile trips (Orlando, Fl to Evansville, In and Evansville, In to Houston, TX) and never got tired at all for driving. The handling was smooth although better tires could help the car handle better. It feels a bit different than the civic at first, but you get used to it and make it handle better through the Ky country roads. Fit and finish was really good, the seats were very good although I think they could've selected slightly better materials for the interiors. Overall the car is very nice and I wouldn't say Mazda makes crappy cars. I would've get one if it wasn't that I prefer other similar but more expensive competitors such as the Subaru Legacy GT and the Acura TSX. Here's a pic of the actual car I drove, which came nicely equipped with 17" wheels, spoiler and side skirts. It was parked while watching the US Navy's Blue Angels at Evansville's Freedom Festival.
