Alrite, I was driving home today and this guy speeds by me in a older accord (i.e. 92-95 body style) and it was pretty much riced out (loud an nasty muffler, steelies, and dropped with prolly cut springs) and we come to a red light and he starts revving his engine up and i'm like w/e. First of all, i see his car everyday parked in the campus garage and i kno it's an auto, but this biatch drives it like a stick, where he puts it in neutral at every stop, lets off the gas b4 the gears shift and slams the gas down after, tries to downshift by putting it into D3 (from listening to his exhaust), etc. Why do people do that?? And what really gets me is when they have this disgusting loud muffler and they floor it in an auto....it sounds so goofy! I mean I have an auto and i dont go around doing that shiet....

hey, everybody has there own thing. i play with the shifter when im in neutral. if you wanted to teach him a lesson you should have gunned it out of there when the light turned green. yeah same thing happened to me tonight. i stopped at gas station to get a drink and a guy in a old accord pre94 comes up with a loud as exhuast and i didn't like it. but you can't be mad cause he acts stupid, just ignore him. nothing make people get more mad when they try to get attention.

yeah, i would think so. why not? you drive an auto or stick? if he has it in neutral when he stops then his tranny can't catch fast enough when the light turns. so you have the advantage.
mine is auto. well the reason i wonder is cuz my neighbor back home had a 92 accord lx before he got an 04 STi and he would tell me stories how his accord beat 7th gen ex vics all the time....just wondering

he's full of **** if he says he beat 7th gens in an accord lx 92. those are like mid 17 second cars. they are slow as hell. maybe an auto dx he beat.
at the same time, arent 7th gen LX civics 17 sec cars as well? ...or is that based on the auto?
as for the accord ricer, i can see his tranny wont last long. the joke will be on him once he needs to service it.

agreed. i think the difference between a ricer and a 7th genner is that i care about what happens to my car, not how it looks and sounds for others. next chance you get i say put some cash on the the line and smoke his ricey self.
