Under the throttle body, there is a special "torque nut". Take a wrench and remove it. Buy a "two-bodied nut" from autozone. Apply these two nuts to where you took out your one nut. More torque, for cheap.

ok listen. to get more torque in your engine you need to stroke it. stroke it meaning make the stroke inside the engine longer for each piston. if you don't want to spend that much then get an intake with a different exhaust. an exhaust WITH a muffler. that way you get back pressure for torque. anyway, don't listen to these dorks. its just cause your a noob. anyway, good luck.

there is no such thing as a cheap mod. you pay money for horsepower. thats how it works. depending on what kind of intake/exhaust you got, you might loose some torque and gain some hp. if you really want torque get a Limited Slip Differential in your ride. it will not make your engine have more torque BUT when all that power gets to the wheels the LSD will make sure it is evenly distributed and it will be faster than stock. if you plan to really make the car fast an LSD is required.
not really, by the time u spend enough money to make our slow cars fast, u could of just bought a fast car.....as far as ur intake and exhaust? well if u were looking for low end torque u just raped urself with no lube, looking for high end torque? u just took away from ur bottom end and gave it to the top
