i can't watch drifting but I will love trying it one day!
y argue the appeal of nascar if you like it cool if you dont cool. i like it but damn im tired of defending it one thing i love about it is how i can fall asleep for 15 min and miss nothing where as i fall asleep watching football and i miss a 1/4 where the score swings by 10 points

Rep Power: 276 Go drive a NASCAR, your opinion of it will change. The power is amazing in those things. You tap the pedal at 150, the engine starts to rumble even louder and before you know it your going 180. So much fun. I love all racing though. The one thing that sets nascar apart is the contact. These guys bump and push each other all over the track at 190-200 mph. If NASCAR didnt use restrictor plates, these cars would be running 230mph or higher. Another reason that NASCAR is fun to attend, is that you can see the WHOLE track. I cant believe that these races pack 200000+ fans in the stands. Texas Motor Speedway is HUGE!

for the argument that nascar's are fast, they are fast but are in no way quick especially for a hollow car with 800 hp on slicks. they are completely tuned and geared to be fast and are only quick and responsive in them triple didget speeds, but dont let it fool you they still can be a force to be reckoned with in the 1/4 mi.
oh and btw there was a nascar ata my high school for an army promotion once it the thing made the girls jump and scream when it roared to life because you could feel the pavement vibrating and couldnt hear anything other than the roar of the engine. it was one of the most intense things ive experienced because i was leaning against the car as the guy was revving the **** out of it to redline and back down such a beatiful sound. ............just thought id share that lol

Rep Power: 276 ^^ if you like that, you need to arrange to drive one. I drove one at texas motor speedway. It was like the best thing ive ever done. The power those cars have is amazing, especially at speeds above 150.
