Mini Coopers = Cool?
Is it just me, or are mini coopers kinda cool?
I dont see to many hooked up ones. I think it'd be kinda tyte to have a black one with 5% tint all around, a small bangin system, and 17"s.
any one else like these cars?
the cooper S has only 160 HP though... i expected it to have a little more, for being a S. plus everyone talks about how great the handle and how fast they are.

the mini cooper is a kinda neat car for an all around package, but its still ugly imo. reminds me of a beetle or somethin... but its bmw engineering so it will be a clean riding car

A lday I work with has one. She loves it. She got a nail in her tire today...but was ok to drive to the dealer because it comes with run flat tires. She's also pretty tall (like 5'11) and has no problem there.
I drove Cooper-S a while back and it was a pretty fun car. I still had the civic at the time, and it was definetely faster and more fun to drive, but kind of small for my 6'"4 frame. They do handle very well, but I see too many old ladies driving them to be considered "cool".
front seats are awesome the back **** that i rather walk its so small back there. I loved the mini cooper my aunt got one 160 hp but it hauls *** handles good you wont be dissapointed i drove that thing took it up to 100 so fast. The speedometer is pretty neat too. I think its one cool car just not for me, their is some hooked up ones and there is a lot of performance parts

I don't know why it has rear seats, there is no way an adult could fit back there or even some teens. The next gen will be bigger and have an auto available on the turbo S models (because a lot of people want the power but can't drive a stick). I hope it doesn't lose its sporty reputation.
The current car is great, but it isn't for me. I do think they're cool though.

Any idea on when the next gen will be out? I considered the S- model before I bought the car I have now, but when I found out it only comes manual I lost interest. I know manual is better than auto, but auto owns manual in stop and go traffic.
As stated, the cooperS comes with 160 HP. Then again, it is factory supercharged. Very easy to throw on a smaller pulley and crank that boost up. There is a "Works" package with an even BETTER suspension and 200 bhp / 170 lbft.
I am considering getting one, if I don't go with an RSXs.

From what I understand, the 2007 models will be when the next gen arrives. The engines will be 115 hp and a 170 hp S model.
The next Works package will supposedly put out 230 hp with the turbo engine, but that has yet to be finalized.
