yo, im helping my friend remove all of his trim pieces to paint and we are having trouble removing the trim the surrounds the radio, center air vents, and climate control buttons. This is the last piece we need to take out, how do we get this off and do we need to remove the head unit first? Thanks for the help

but for our civics, we would have to start by pulling apart where te shift **** stands and whats around it. then that gives us access to the center console. theres a DIY in the ice section here.
