Anyone else watching Indy 500?
It's on right now.
IRL is fun to watch. Almost as much fun as watching F1. And Danica Patrick is hot. After all, she's 5'1" 100lbs, cute, and drives a honda that goes 230mph.

I was jumpin up and down when she was in 1st place with 10 laps to go. I can't believe she started to run out of fuel. AHHHH. if she hadn't run low/out of fuel I think she could have taken it!
either way, it's awesome. 1st woman to lead a lap and 1st woman to ever finish as well as 4th place!

Who was the Nascar bitch who was complaining about Danicas low weight as being an unfair advantage?

IMO, imports probably don't compete in nascar cuz they're too slow. afterall, IRL cars go 225+mph. nascar goes like 180. rofl. <yawn>
By the way, 1st through 4th place were all hondas. And 7 of the top 8 are hondas.
hehe. owned.

1mph is quite a big bit of difference. every inch, millimeter, mile, and ounce of fuel make a difference. this is a very precise sport.
it's just interesting that other women as well as "smaller" drivers have competed before. it's just that none of them were ever really good. suddenly one gets really good, and whiny b*tches like gordon want to complain rather than lose to a girl. to him I say, stay with NASCAR buddy. that's where the real "pussies" belong.

I'm guessing the IRL doesn't have a minimum weight like in F1? Cause if that was the case they'd have to make up weight in the car for her with bias.
Damn good drive on her behalf and pretty damn good race too. Probably the best indy race sence the IRL took it over. I can deffiently see her winning a bunch of races and the big one too.
Finally a decent chick driver, it isn't a myth after all

There is a minimum weight. Forgot what it is though. 1,525 lb keep popping up in my head, is that crazy?
It also is Honda's second consecutive Indy 1-2-3-4 sweep. Excerpt from Honda's site: http://racing.honda.com/results/deta...ate=2005_05_29
Wheldon Wins Indy; 1-2-3-4 for Honda
Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Indianapolis, IN
05/29/2005
Last Year's Winner: Buddy Rice
Weather: Mostly sunny, mild, 75 degrees F
Already a three-time winner this season, Indy Racing League championship leader Dan Wheldon prevailed in a Honda-powered "shootout" including a half-dozen drivers over the final 15 laps to win the 89th running of the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race, becoming the first English driver to do so since Graham Hill in 1966. It also is Honda's second consecutive Indy 1-2-3-4 sweep.
Wheldon, who started his Andretti Green Racing Honda only 16th after a disappointing qualifying run, consistently worked his way through the field during the early stages of the race, reaching the lead pack by Lap 50 of the 200-lap event. From there, the race developed into an "intramural" contest among a variety of Honda drivers as other potential contenders fell by the wayside.
Gotta love it!
Wonder what kinda excuse those Import bashing Domestic only owners gotta say now.

I watched it but honestly...the F1 race was WAY more fun. Kept wondering how long until that tire on Raikonnen's right side front would go until it exploded..lol.

^^ I think it caused his suspension to fail.
The 500 was great this year start to finish.
I hope that Toyota takes over the Nascar Truck series, and the cup cars if/when they get there.

She's a helluva driver none the less, girl or not. For a ROOKIE she's amazing.
