had a good drag last night
my freind has a late 90 something camry with a 5spd and a 2.0L dohc. i asked him if he wanted to drag (i have an ex 5pd with only a revo quick shifter). this was my first race since getting the quick shifter. we went first to 50 and lined up on a pretty straight peice of road. we started and i spun my tires all the way to 6500 rpms (combination of damp conditions and firestones). i was ahead alittle in 1st but when i slammed it into 2nd i was out by 2 car lengths. the quick shifter def knocked off some time. then i beat him again on another strip. i guess you can never lose if you know whats under the other guys hood.

he he... I wish I had my old 1993 Hyundai Sonata still 2.0L engine.. squeezed out a little over 190HP.. it ha a Mitsubishi DOHC 2.0L engine (same in NA eagle talons and Eclipses) Had Cam work, port and polish intake and exhaust headers Chip, Burnt 4 transmissions on that car..luckily my dad bought 3 extra years of warranty on that thing and transferred the warranty to me when I bought the car off him.. now that car was fun [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. used to had SiR drivers a$$es to them..(well not by much and not if they were modded) he he..
Cool race though.. but that Camry only has 125 HP and it;s about 1.5 times heavier than you.. EASY win.

Rep Power: 400 That's the key to fun races. Pick your races, and try not to race something you obviously wont beat. I wont be racing any C5's, but I'll run against a mustang or a Z28 any day. To tell you the truth, I have only lost once so far. And it was to an all motor civic. A 93 hatch with every damn thing under the hood (except turbo/nos/or supercharger) His all motor civic pulls an 11.9 1/4 mile.
