After looking at that, I'd rather have a 3rd gen...and I never liked that style either. And with such a big engine, handling limits could likely end in this, massive understeer.

haha, your a funny guy. Look I can be funny... I would trade that rx8 for an s2000 and it bugs me the rx8 has the worse DT loss than awd.

Anyways, I don't care much for the style, and I prefer the 2ndgen over the 4thgen, but I like the fact this pig ran a 14.4 @ 101mph, all 3500lbs of it

The blueish silvery tint to the bulbs is so they can have DOT legal amber bulbs but not have it cloud the housing with the amber reflection. They're probably Sylvania Silverstar bulbs.
I'm not sure if that thing has enough wheel gap. Honestly, those wheel wells are so big, you may be able to get 22s in there. Damn. Looks like they left the concept wheel wells, then stuffed production wheels in there rather than resizing it to proportion. Totally killed it.

I agree .. the concept looked pretty awesome in person, the wheel gap and rims were perfect. The wheels on the production and 14" wheel gap totally killed it, IMO. I like the 2nd gen dsm's a lot better.

I wasn't trying to be funny little boy. You get offended every time someone knocks a shitsubishi product? The truth hurts doesn't it. The only mitsu car worth owning is the EVO8, plain and simple.

As far as DT losses, that's an arguable point that I'm not going into, but let's say the car has way too many sensors to properly dyno. Mazda's official statement on the matter can be found all over the place...see rotarynews.com

As for the S2K remark, we already bought one several months ago, and its too small and impractical for me. I still like driving it from time to time, but in my line of work I need a more practical car.

You seem like one of those who likes to buy cars based on numbers. That's sad. Nobody buys cars based on how they feel anymore. Numbers are great and everything but do you really think the miata is the best selling sports car of all time because of its numbers? Surely you're not that one dimensional.

I thought this was about the crappy shitsubishi and not me anyways. BTW you're not as funny as you think and it still eludes me why you ever even came to this site.

Wow, guess you missed the part where I said "look, I can be funny" and I guess you miss the part where I posted this " "

Anyways, I like to "buy" cars based on numbers? Do you even know what kind of cars I own or the fact if I bought them based on numbers? NO... you don't. Also, the evo8 isn't the only mitsu worth owning. Peek @ the evo forums and look at all the problems and dealers sitution and than tell me "it's the only mitsu worth owning".

Also, in your refrence I like my shitsubishi and the fact it can keep up with your rotary power.

Oh, and the "reason" why im here, I use to own a civic... what im not aloud to be here because I don't have it anymore? Now, dude chill out... don't take internet text so seriously

dude I'm not taking it as seriously as you think matter of fact this whole conversation is making me smile.

That's cool if you used to own a civic, but by the way that link you posted, you said it yourself you ran with an AT. Those things are turds.

But I still have little faith in mitsu and their cars. The EVO is a nice car, regardless of its problems. It's not a car I would drive, but I acknowledge that it is a nice car.

This new eclipse looks like garbage as far as I'm concerned.

BTW sorry if I can't read sarcasm in your post.

Also after reading that post a little more carefully I think you may have ran against a 6MT. However, very few 6MT owners know that in order to make a good pull you need to drop 2-3 gears. If you don't know how to keep the rev range up, same as an S2K, other cars can easily get the jump on you...Actually I drop 2 gears on a daily basis...

Chances are it was either a AT or a 6MT who doesn't know his powerband. The AT is only 197 hp btw, and weighs more than the 6 MT at around 3100 lbs. I should think your ralliart would easily take an auto.

Being that I work at a car dealership that handles Honda as well, I'll get pictures as soon as we get our first 8th Gen. Before then I can't really answer any questions because I work on the Nissan end.

Thanks, The concept looks good. So I guess with some lowering and nice wheels it will look close to the concept.

I know this has benn posted many times, but again this is 7th gen civic coupe concept

We didn't get the skirts, large wing, limited wheel gap huge wheels and crazy brakes.

^^^ I think you're confused. That car was shown at SEMA 2001 or 2002 can't remember which exactly, but the civic was already out. That was just a civic that Honda submitted to SEMA. The result of this particular concept is the Honda Performance Package you can get from the dealer now...

i checked it out last night, The dealer had a silver black and red one...

i dont diss on cars much,

But im Waiting For my 06 loaded Tc to come in, And the final price on that was 23k plus tax...

So since i was allready at 23k, i decided to look at some other car's

i dont like the look of the RSX, and the mini is nice but not me, So i looked at This thing, it really is ugly. And im sorry to say that. I loved it in its concept pics but in person the *** and front turned me off, The inside is OK, but i still didnt like it, The sound system is REALLY nice, Upgraded ofcourse!

but overall i just did not like it....

look Wise...

So it looks like the TC is deff for me, i really think the new SI concept is hot, But i need a car now, and as long as it faster then my old 03 civic, Thats all i really care about....
