I have a chance to buy one of any three 1997-98 Prelude SH engine, tranny, ECM, and everything for an engine swap for 4000-4500. Is that about a nice price? Also I can't find a place to install it around my area. I'm not sure on the mileage on the engines.

yes u can, it's an h22a, heavy and not as much torque per litre like a k20, but still better than a d17 though, i dunno, i'd find out how much for install then compare it to a k20

On 7thgen, not worth it.
Putting older engine is illegal and K series swap is available.
Why bother with older engines?

Nobody makes h22 motor mounts and harness swap for 7thgen, and nobody will make one in the future.

well it has been done before, i recall the guy telling me that his front sits way lower, i would recommend k20 for that price its around the same..
