lighted! power window switches?
hey guys, i just got done installing ths spal power windows with 3 iluminated switches and the 2 on the driver side work fine, but whenever i roll the driver side up i hear it pop and tick through my stereo, i have the power run off the cig lighter which is also acc for the stereo so i think i've tracked that one down....as far as the passenger switch, if i roll the pass. window down from the driver side switch, the swtich illuminates and the window rolls down, when i roll it up it's fine, when i have the lights turned on and everything is illuminated and good looking, i roll it down from the driver side and it shuts off, but if i use the switch on the passenger side it's fine? do u guys understand what i'm trying to say and if u do any ideas on how to fix it?

i've got mine run to the cig lighter...and through a "mishap" the fuse blew while i was installing it and it's listed as cig ACC which led me to believe it was for the stereo too
it might be a grounding problem
i had a problem when i converted my tailights wiring harness i had an 04 harness and need the 01-03 harness so i could have aftermarket tails i wanted and i forgot to do the ground and when i was doin my test my blinkers worked but when i turned on the lights and tried the blinkers they went all crazy and acted like hazards but worked fine when the lights where off.
so you might want to go back and check all you grounds. but thats just my opinion so i dont know hopefully that helps

it's grounded to the screw on the fuse box
edit: it all shares one ground....but it has to be that way for the passenger switch to work

well i emailed spal about it and they told me that, if i lean over and roll down the passenger window with that switch, it will stay on, f*cking retards, i tore the switch apart and the bulb runs off of a ground that is inconsistant when the driver side switch is used, i ran a dedicated ground and it works great, f*ck spal they dont know anything, basically the whole "it breaks when i do this" and their response "dont do that"
