all the cars were 1997
each problem was one point, doesn't matter what kind of problem it was
(ie, transmission broken = one point, button broken = one point)

yeah my best friend picked up her 2002 is300 two weeks ago and right away was having issues with the CD changer...it's fine now but still. pain in the ***.

Good info, but not very useful for us. Would be more helpful for us if individual cars were rated. For all we know, our 2001 Civics may make up the bulk of those 278 Honda problems (and I wouldn't be surprised considering that it has quite a few new generation problems).
