well I've drove an SI and i've boosted my vic which is paid for its a 2002 . I'm more happy with my boost and suspension than the SI
I like the Si, it will start out being faster and have way more potential than an EX Civic.
As for me, when the 2001 gets paid off, I am getting an EX Accord Coupe. More room and a K24. But I really did like the Si I saw at the auto show, it has lots of potential.

well look at it this way....if your looking for speed
you could boost your current vic and hit around 215whp, around 8 psi (I'm assuming its something like that)
or you could get a stock si and run at 200hp without anything....you could probably slap some bolt on's into your car and get to at least 215whp (thats if the new engines are more responsive to bolt ons then our cars)
I would say go for the si, thats what I'm gonna do in a few years...its got more potential...

Around 8 psi your gonna be luckily puttin down around close to 200hp @ crank so compare to an Si that's about equal but you have advantage in the weight department and if your car is somewhat modded already you have less things to change on your 7thgen to get it to your standards let's say. But the new Si might come with 200hp and lsd and brembos and all that so it's tempting but if your not the type of guy that likes working on his car I would suggest the new Si and be done with it. If you like the DIY style go for boost.
