WRX fun time
I finally had my first racing encounter on the streets. It was a couple of days ago. Nice little WRX, blue, with the factory spoiler. Looked all shiny too. He passed me by all casually, but I just had to give it some gas. We were on a highway in heavy traffic zig-zagging through open lanes. I gave chase and I was right on his rear until he found an open spot. Then he gave it some gas and I experienced what a turbo does at high speeds. It leaves us civics in the dust. Good thing that my exit was right then and there, I didn't end up looking like a total chump.

Yes...good ol WRX...nice little cars...buddy of mine came back into town yesterday..he's in the Marines...he has one..silver...went crusing with him...the most amazing car I have ever been in. It's like a roller coaster..only better . The way that thing just eats up the turns in amazing...never drifted in a car till last night
Well, they have like 225 HP, so no wonder, I think they have a 2.0 liter motor, don't they?? Anyway, I am sure Honda COULD built just as powerful an engine, but they don't yet...itsa shame....I think the Acura RSX Type S has 200 hp, and in NON-turbo, would be nice to see how one of those does against the WRX suuubie..
The WRX is a good car but The RSX is a better choice..........
WRX uses force induction...... which is very popular now adays.
But i rather go all motor with the RSX and if i wanted to and if i
could i would go Turbo...... so
WRX ---> Force Induction ---> 227 hp ---> 14.4 Stock 1/4 mile
RSX ---> 2.0 Liter ---> 200 hp ---> 14.8 Stock 1/4 mile
In conclusion, slap a turbo on a RSX and the WRX is dust

dollar for dollar you can get MUCH more performance out of the WRX than you can out of ANY stupid honduh. with less than 1500 in upgrades you can EASILY get a 50% gain from stock, any turbo motor has more potential than a naturally aspirated one
and AWD is great for drag launches at 5k, great for the street, great for road racing, great for inclement weather... FWD essentially fights a losing battle against physics

hope canada gets mitsubishi soon

thats why i love to race on traffic.
cuz no matter how fast a wrx is. if the driver cant drive in traffic, hes turbo is useless!!!!

I think everyone is forgetting one major factor when comparing a WRX to a RSX. What about torque, eh? The RSX has a measily 142ft-lbs. Which is nothing compared to the WRX. If you're not in the powerband when driving the RSX, you're screwed! Even off the line and out of corners the RSX is quite slow.
