I got an element, honda's version and I love it for its spacious interior and comfort. Its got a bit more power and torque than the xb but I dont like the suicide doors that much. I think youd be happy with it in the long run.

the reason it has windshield problems is because of it's design. the hood of the car actually draws objects faster toward the windshield. unfortunately the windshield is angled almost perpendicular to the direction of air flow, and that's why object tend to break it easy. even a tiny rock can crack this ****.

Elements have the same problem. Well, kinda. The elements actually had a nipple on the windshield housings. I think it was used to keep the glass tight with the housing edge and sealed but it actually put lots of strain on the glass. One small object bouncing off of it would cause a stress crack almost always originating from the same place. They have since, supposedly, fixed the housing and use more insulation and sealant rather than the nipple. Not sure if that may be a contributor to the xb windshields or not.

I would think you would have heard of it. It's the best selling car in the country.

I suppose you might see a difference if you really must have factory 17 inch wheels, interior LEDs en masse, and a TRD-optional disco ball.

dude what tc are you talking about? the tc is a great car for the price with awesome factory options. I only wish the tc was out when i bought my 04 civic ex 2-door. I can tell you right now I would have bought the tc in a second before my civic. my friends tc is faster, better looking and was fvcking cheaper than my car too!
thing is, if you're a honda fan than
for you but you have to recognize that the tc is superior to the civic for more than one reason. I went to prison a boy and came out a man with a sore ass!

Chassis is completely different. he said over and over again, he doesnt give a flying dungball about performance, just gas mileage, reliability and 4 doors

but eh xB is seriously a good car.
pros:
the design is unique, it has 4 doors, hauls a family, good gas mileage, reliable, spacious...what more can you ask for???
cons:
i dont like how all the gauges are in the middle...a bit annoying for me i guess. and according to previous posts, i guess they dont come with sunroofs? if the windshield issue is true, then you should watch out for that...
but overall, its a great family car and better than getting a minivan. good choice, you should definitely get it. the maroon red color looks beautiful too, you should get that imo.

Oh and I am not a fan of the Element. I was when it first came out, but now I think it is so ugly and I really dont like the interior either....
