What do u think about this Integra?
Im sick of the lack of power that my vic puts out, but i dont have enough money to turbo my car the right way. I was searching ebay for a GSR and i found one 90 miles away and it was everything i wanted. I wouldnt buy a car off of ebay without first drving it. The car didnt sell so i contacted the seller and Im gonna go check the car out this weekend. WHat do you guys think of the car? its low miles, but i would never personally buy a car that was turbo'd/supercharged/swapped by someone else. you know the car was beat to **** b/c who would do something like that if they didnt want to push it hard and you could never trust the work they did on it. thats just my personal opinion.

That's not a real GSR. It's got a LS (B18B) with a B16A head on it. He did a LS/VTEC frankenstein. Not a bad combo, as long as the engine is built. I've heard that the B18B has a "short rod problem". The rods are short and that at really high revs, the pistons start scraping the walls of the cylinder.
But, it might not be a bad buy, espically if the body is in great condition.

Rep Power: 0 This is the cars second engine. He was runing a similar setup and spun a bearing. His last enigne was rated 376hp at 22lbs of boost. All the tuning and work on the car was done by a very reputable shop.

Rep Power: 0 Its nice but id watch any car thats used and they put on a turbo cuz im sure it was beating on a little but never know. Id personnaly by or look at the couple type r's on there i just saw one that was stock or pretty much stock low miles!!

Rep Power: 424 its an LS/VTEC Turbo... that just kinda worries me. Built right or not.
I'm also of the camp where you buy the car stock, then do the work yourself.... then you know whats done. Its not like he's gonna let you rip the motor open and check to see all the parts he says he has in it are in it. Plus if its running that kind of power, I wouldn't want sloppy seconds on the drive train.

Rep Power: 0 I would much rather buy a stock car and build it up the way i would want it, but I definately dont have the cash it would cost for the kind of power i could get with this setup. If I buy it i have about a grand to spend on tuning it. I donno about the condition of the axles and the tranny il find out when i test drive it. Thanks for your opinions keep em comin.

Rep Power: 330 i wouldnt buy it personally, i would save up the money to buy the car and do it all myself. but if you get that, that is one hardcore sleeper (minus the spoiler). good luck whatever you decide to do, and have fun on the test drive.

if he said no i would do something bad to him, like make a plaster mold of paint *****, take those little stink bombs we used to play with when we were kids, freze them in the shape of a paint ball and shoot them through his window, so them melt into the seats....i live in az try and think of what that would smell like in a hot summer day
