Rep Power: 0 LX Coupe Question
I have a question for anyone with an LX Coupe. Do you like the car? Doe it provide enough horse power to keep you happy? I am not going to be racing it, but I do want a car that isn't a total dog when going up a hill or passing on the highway.
Let me know!
Thanks

Rep Power: 0 the lx is alright, but sometimes i have to floor it to get on the highway cuz it's under construction and u have to merge almost immeditely after u get on highway... sometimes i see people just completely stop at the feeder waiting to merge with traffic going 70mph....

Rep Power: 0 Gaaaahaha. Sigh, I'm just waiting for the new Civic Si before I do anything. 132ft/lb@5000rpm.
Not something to drool over, but after I fool around with it, it will be.

Rep Power: 0 The new Si is slower than its predecessor. Not only .5 secs slower, lower redline, heavier....the list goes on and on...but it will be better to work with than an EX.

Is the new SI engine reverse like RSX...... cause it's the base RSX engine.

Rep Power: 0 Getting back to the question...... I love my LX coupe and im sure that there are hundreds of peeps on this site that love theres too! It's not the quickest car on the street but if you were looking for a speed demon, you should have done more research. Still... some of you out there were hoping to buy the civic and mod the crap out of it. and so far the only real way to make the 7th gen civic significantly faster is to swap out the engine
but anyways, the civic looks tight as hell IMO no matter what the trim. id rather drive a hot looking not so fast car than a faster POS. thats my $0.02

Rep Power: 0 My LX can keep up with the big boys doing 100+ on the highways. It has plenty of kick.. and it's the fastest car for the money. I did research for abou 5 months before I got mine. The EX would have been just a little too much for me.. I already pay over $200 a month for insurance.. I didn't want to add more by getting the higher model. By the way, why do they say that some parts are for the EX and not any other models? Is the engine a different one?

Rep Power: 0 Im sick and tired of people keep saying My Car is faster than your car I have bigger engine than you. If you really want a fast car get a ferrari. If you can't afford it well stick with your car and be happy with it. And remember it's always fun to beat a much powerful car than yours.

Rep Power: 0 D the engines are different EX is running a VTEC version I believe certain pieces are in different places ex. when installing an AEM SRI they show you the diff ways it must be put in for LX, EX etc.

Rep Power: 0 I love my lx. Its pretty fast. It beats my friends 99 mustang, and hes got exhaust and CAI. Maybe because his is an automatic and mine is stick. Anyways, does anyone know why the DC Sports Tcs doesnt go on the lx. Are the exhaust pipes different for the lx and the ex?
