HOT! does that mean, focus will now come into 2 dr coupe, next gen maybe?
honestly is HONDA the only one doing coupe/sedan on that civic class?
corolla= sedan
sentra= sedan
mazda 3= sedan
focus= sedan
neon= sedan
lancer= sedan
would be nice if the also have coupe variance like the civic.

sorry...mmm...no
Honda renovated and designed their own things, this is guaranteed. I challenge you finding profs showing honda outsourced their TL and TSX design.

im not going to search for hours to prove my point because its obvious IT IS INSPIRED BY ITALIAN DESIGN.
i guess i challenge you to prove me wrong.

It's all good. The Vignale looks like a very cool car; well, the concept does anyways. The important question is whether or not the production model will closely resemble the show car.

You still have to find out if they actually hired an italian team for the car design, in order to say they actually use italian design.

what guido? what leperachaun design????
Honda never said they followed these design explicitly...I don't recall they ever bought any patented italian design for their cars
In fact, they never even co-design these cars in Italy or with any italian like Ford did. THe only co-designed car is EP-3 type-R, with the british. This is a solid point here.
By the way, I don't read some magasines and automatically claim myself as a savant. I read Honda company profile, that is it.

do you read where i say that i know they havent "co-designed" what im saying is they dont need to co design to make have the looks that an italian car does, and dont act like your the **** when you say something stupid as this "I don't recall they ever bought any patented italian design for their cars ", yea as if any region specific design has a patent. your being stubborn and repeating yourself without reading my posts obviously. i dont see why its so hard for you to admit that OMG honda made a car that has italian styling.
you say you dont read magazines blah blah blah yea ok try to talk me down cus you read honda w/e big deal. you said honda said its euro designed, i dont think the tl look anything like any german cars or any french cars so hmmmmm that leaves italy where they look similiar. and it sure as hell doesnt look swedish so dont even try that one.

i was wondering when ford was gonna release a drop-top model. i was thinking it was gonna look more like a focus, but this is MUCH nicer. looks like they went the luxo route and not chasing the miata's market like pontiac/saturn are doing.
thats a smart choice on fords part. go for the people that are looking at saab, MB, lexus and bmw convertibles, and give them a cheaper option.

ok

haha,
ok, it looks like you can't have a mature conversation without spitting out words like "stupid" etc. If you have to jump around like a redneck and insult people then you will probably make this thread locked and get yourself banned.
I don't know what do you have with the italians, but Honda did not and does not specificly claim they use italian design for TSX/TL, euro means europe in general, that is all. Whatever you said does not represent Honda's vision.
I just don't want people spread wrong info around. That is it.

ok...did i REALLY have to specify that i meant in america?
chevy has the cavalier convertible. SSr also has a retractable roof. i think theyre more likely to make a convertible monte carlo than bring back the camaro. there is nothing about the camaro in their upcoming cars section...where are you getting that its coming back?

now yes honda says european i understand that, thats fine but since italy is in europe its very possible that theyre design was aimed most at italian.
im not stuck on italy, it has nothing to do with my preference its all just the looks of the car here. now obviously your still going to lean back on "you dont know if they hired an italian" and " honda says europe" but when someone makes a statement like i did i think its innapropriate for you to jump on my comment as if you have proof, the honda statement is not proof!
and dont say im spreading the wrong info as if someone could be affected by my opinion..........
