I've been trying to get these SSR rims for almost 2 months now. NO one in North America has them in stock, except TireRack, and all they have are the GT1's in silver 18". I want the GT1 in white 17". The earliest anyone will get a shipment in from Japan(SSR's factory) is like mid March. I would get them in 18" white, but SSR doesn't make them.

So, should I go ahead and order the SSR GT1's in 18" Silver, wrapped in 215/35/18 Parada's for about $2200.00 US now?







Or, should I wait for the SSR GT1's in 17" White wrapped in 205/40/17 Paradas's for about $1940.00 US in a couple months?

One option you might want to consider if money isn't the issue and you don't care about the size difference is to go ahead and get the 18's then get them powdercoated or repainted white. If I had too choose between the options given though, I think the white 17's would be worth the wait.

I'd say hold out.. wait till you can get what you really want.. that way you know you'll never be dissapointed..
