Modified my projectors-much better now
I bought a set of chrome projectors. To my dissapointment, the OEM sockets didnt fit and the low beams were terrible. I bought them from IPDmotorsports. Dont buy from them. They would not take them back and told me to contact Hiper Industries to solve the problem. Anyway, I made my own holes for the parking and turn signal sockets using a dremmel tool and a sheet of plastic. I glued the new pieces into the lights and they work great.
As for the low beams. I took the headlights apart and removed a shield that is in the low beam projector.
AND, while I had them apart, I panited the chrome black! I didnt like the black projectors that you can buy because the parking and turn signal tubs are black. I left all the tubs chrome! Looks really tight! I will post pics as soon as I get them back in car.

well theres the answer to a question i was about to ask. i saw hiper industries black projectors for $245, which is considerable less than ive seen the APC ones for, but apparently you get what you pay for so those are out of the question now

When you get the projectors, they come with headlight bulbs. They do not com with parking lights or turn signals. The holes where these bulbs go in the headlights are empty. Well, the factory bulb sockets that are on my car were too small for the holes in the headlights. They wouldnt stay in!
Update on the paint modification. I screwed them up! tryed to clean finger prints off the chrome with Mothers polish. It took the chrome off! Anyone want to buy them? Cheap! Name your price(you pay shipping/about $20) . They still look pretty cool and work fine. Plus the low beams are brighter now and the OEM sockets fit.
