Rep Power: 0 Not sure if it was the same one, but i saw a jet car a couple months ago at speed world here in AZ. It was so ****ing amazing. You can actually feel the heat of the engine and my ears were ringing for a couple hours cuz I was standing so close to it. Insane.

Rep Power: 583 thats pretty weak for a jet car. i mean ive seen funny cars do 3+ seconds and those are not jet powered i dont think. this thing should have at least gotten in the 4s. dont you think? lol
i mean im not saying its slow, im just saying i was expecting more.
i wonder how much gas he wasted just setting up before the race. LOL must have been half his tank w/ those fireballs. LMAO

Rep Power: 399 He was letting off the throttle before even the halfway point on the track.
So his 5 second run was only throttle for the first 500 feet.

Rep Power: 319 I thoguht that was pretty slow, then I saw he let off the throttle, then I thought that's pretty fast. I was at the super chevy show a couple of years ago, they had about 10 of those bracket racing. And the jet powered semi that ran 10 seconds, it burned down all the sponsor banners when it started shooting out the fireballs.
Last time I had this much fun some furniture got broken!

2 years ago at Great Lakes Dragaway there were some jet cars running. I was up in the tower at the beginning of the track when they ran. When the jet cars let off the booms, we had to hold onto the monitors up there or they would fall off the desk. Hunks of the ceiling came down and the windows sounded like they were going to pop out. It was absolutely nuts to see them from that perspective. I was up there with GLD Greg and he had his car hood open (95 Cobra) behind the tower and it folded his hood all the way back. He has a video of the whole ordeal somewhere.
The only thing that sucks is that when they let the cars run, no one else can run for about 30min.
