JEEZ LOUISE! I'm not one for making fun of people hard work on their precious car. But some of these examples are the kings of ricey.
What is the deal with the extreme front bumpers? And longer tailpipes than choppers. And spoilers that would make a Superbee blush.

the cables on the front of the car are going to an oil or tranny cooler. Can't remember which but I believe it's oil. No it's not a FMIC.

i wonder if they have like a special purpose like raceing type thing, or if they just think they look cool. casue some of them look like the the superspeed cars off GT3 like the red and black celica or the sazuki whatever it was that would do like 260mph.

Rep Power: 0 The really crazy ones belong to a group of people in japan who call themselves "bosozuka"... they're like the outcast underlinks of the yakuza, who have a very specific style they use for their vehicles. Namely, huge pipes, outlandish body kits, and of course... an oil cooler on the ouside of the front grill. They have huge car meets from time to time. I have some pictures of some vans and winnebagos (spelling?) that look like ****ing traveling circuses. They aren't meant to be taken seriously, as it is a political and social statement of their position in their country.
BTW... there is no such term for modified or tuned cars in japan like "rice". That's a meal to them, not a term. Be careful labeling JDM and japan tuned vehicles as rice, since that style originated there, and only became the farce it is today because of stupid Americans.
I'm American by the way, so I'm not hating on my fellow countrymen... just their penchant for ruining everything they touch.
