2006 Civic Sedan pix

Sometimes it just doesn't pay to save space on your digital memory card for those vacation pictures when something big is passing you by. And that's exactly what happened during this spring break fling. These pictures, taken by college students on their way to their vacation destination, was obviously shot in the low-megapixel mode, but grainy or not, these are the very first pictures of the upcoming Honda Civic sedan.
There will be many differences between the sedan and coupe, but even so, one can easily see the similarities between the sedan shown here and the Civic Si concept shown in Chicago. Most noticeable is the sweeping roofline and A-pillar, which goes right into the hood for a dramatic look. The windshield, side-view mirror treatment, and front-side windows, as well as the rear fender creases and trim, all match closely with the Si concept as well.

this is true. when concepts that go into production go out on the road, car manufacturers will cover various sections of the car so as to not be recognized by the public and other manufacturers.

Wow, I hear you guys. It has a shape similar to all the new bubbly cars, like the 3 and Maxima. The side mirrors are good, but I'm wondering if that could be the next gen Honda City because those had similar mirrors. Also, that should cut down on wind noise because I just KNOW a lot of noise is coming from there on my car.
After staring at those pix, I'm hoping that car is the City/Fit sedan. I wish there were more pix.

at least its five lug. I never understood why manufactures would have cars that ride on the exact same chassis but one version has for lugs, while another hase five. It would be more cost effective to have the same parts on all of the cars.

The back end looks similar to the current one, so I'm guessing the tails will at least have a similar outer part.
I want to see a European Civic hatch here too...

Am I the only one that happened to notice the severe negative camber on the passenger side in the rear? I see that someone is sitting back there, so that'd effect it a bit, but that's horrible! I'm guessing that it has an even softer suspension than the 7th gens do.

I wouldn't be surprised if it has a softer suspension. They're trying to move it up in class since they're trying to put a car underneath it. The coupes will probably be the sporty models.
